Free Expression Blend 2 video series for Designers
Ah! giving away free stuff is what I like the most 
Makes people happy!
This year we are producing lots and lots of small 5min videos (aprox) to answer particular questions we’ve received about Expression Studio tools. We will be publishing these videos (dozens and dozens, which will become hundreds and hundreds soon) in the Expression Community site but in the meantime, let me do it again and share with you a sneak peak.
Here you have 16 videos originally recorded using Expression Blend 2.5 June Preview showing Silverlight 2 related activities. These videos are great for designers and also developers who are interested in UI design. Even though these were recorded with a preview version of Blend, the content is still valuable now that we’ve released Blend 2 SP1 (remember Blend 2.5 got renamed to Blend 2 SP1 - Service Pack 1 - after we released it a couple weeks ago). SkyDrive by the way is a free storage service (5GB) provided by Windows Live. Let me know if it works well for you. (I do not have the assets used in the videos to share with you but we will post those in the Community site in the future).

Skydrive is blocked by many corporate proxy servers for security reasons. They don’t want people uploading confidential company documents to their private 5GB hiding place on the web.

In your experience, does this happen with the majority of file sharing services? or just with SkyDrive?

Hey, Download is not working, I am receiving 0 byte file when I am downloading Batch 1, didn’t test other batches

Hi Arturo, Found this link via the MVP Newsgroup.
I use the Amazon S3 service to host all my data downloads… very cheap and scaleable.
Even wrote some software to use it www.databucketpro.com can send you a free copy if needed.

Dev, thanks for letting me know about your issue with Batch 1. I tested right now and seems to be working fine, perhaps was an isolated issue. Give it another try and let me know if it works. thanks!
Marc, thank you too for the good tip on using Amazon S3. I had heard about some of their cloud services but never tried. I did some more research thanks to you by visiting the site you recommended and Amazon itself. I can definitely see the value of using a software that helps me access Amazon’s service. I learned that you pay for Amazon’s service of course but it seems to be scalable based on needs. I’ll do more research specially on how much I’d need to pay since this comes out of my pocket
but it’s within a healthy range sure! hehe thanks for the your kind offer with the Data Bucket software!

Hello … first thnx for sharing these vids.. i actualy just recently started with blend. i’ve bold experience with expression web and vs. now its tooo better thing i saw.. still graphics, animation. designing nd development all in one.. thts cool.
